Hi all, just joined as I have purchased my second rapid 2 had one from new when they first appeared but sold it due to a cash flow problem lol. Just picked up a really nice .22 mk2 from the local rfd, it's got a dr bob quick fill with a carbon bottle which does make it nicely balanced, I did pay a bit over the odds for it but it's mint. Well there's a bit of a story,Took it to the range was shooting 11.4fps with 14 grain pellets and it was pellet on pellet, all of a sudden the poi dropped and seemed lacking power so I Crono'ed it again, down to 9fbs so I topped the gun up to 180bar, now it's shooting 6fbs? Don't know much about the workings of these any ideas ? It's going back to the rfd today but not sure if he knows about Theoben's any pointers would be helpful for myself to point him in the right direction, ideally I'd like it fixed as it's a nice gun. Thanks for reading Mark

Hi Mark,
Welcome to The Rapid Forum.
Nice to hear you have a Rapid again... Sorry it is sick...
Well not knowing the History and maintenance of your rapid,
Makes this hard to diagnosis..
It could be hammer and spring..
Or it may be the Regulator...
So it may need a disassemble and a good cleaning..
You might what to post this in KevG's area....

Good luck..
Stuart
