Context I'm an FAC user in New Zealand.

Trying to workout an optimal set up for my Mk1 .25 FAC and Mk2 .177 FAC.

So much info to think about: Short core reg, lane regs, adjustable hammer, different inertia weights, double tap inertia,  spring weights, exhaust valve mods, external plenums, in line with bottle and under the barrel, EBay selling lots of stuff.

I don't remember it being quite so confusing when I was Doing this 20yrs ago!!

Last time I owned a Rapid Mk2 it had KegG short core, and couple of springs for the hammer and valves. Things seem to have moved on.

Given all bits need to posted  down here I don't want to stuff this up.
Any all all help especially form @KevG and @Dr Bob

If it's a fast flow keep it as one, to fit a reg you'll need to open the barrel port & if you get that wrong it's ruined.
Only other thing I'd say is accept they are not the latest greatest super power rifles, I have a mk2 .25 running 42ftlb with JSB kings 25.4gn,
gives me 4 mags+ at full power from a 400cc, 220bar fill.

I'd avoid anything from ebay unless it's from a seller recommended by name, lots of people trying to make money off the Theoben name,
My personal experience of seller pcpairgunparts is appalling, so I advise you to steer clear.
