Getting back into my R7 bunny bashing

First time out in a while last week with the R7 after spending over a year using my CZ 455 almost exclusively for rabbit control. Only had time for a couple of hours prowl around my 8.5 acre garden perm but what a great evening.Ive been spending a little time getting to know the FAC 36 ftlb R7 so  I knew that it would be nowhere close to the 22lr in range but i did 2 x 40ish metre bunnies, a 52 metre and a 55 metre.  I also knew that i'd become a little bit complacent with the RF too, especially at these ranges so it was great to use a bit of fieldcraft to reduce the range rather than just plot up in my hide and bang away out to 100 metres. Ive definately got the buzz again and cant wait to get out again later this week. Jeez ive really missed this.

I'm on the same path. Been using rimfires for too long.

Nothing polishes the fieldcraft, like using an air rifle

For me my fac rapid was so much safer and more fun than my 22lr 👍
