More manufacuring capacity so need to keep the machines running

[Dr Bob]

As title. My resident engineer Alex now has time on his hands due to him rebuilding a second hand machining centre and adding it to the other machines he has,  It now requires more work. I'm often asked for parts for other air rifle obsolete parts like Falcon ect . TBH nothing other than Theoben floats my boat and I don't want to spread myself too thin, but as his mortgage alone has just gone up by £400 a month plus he is fighting other rising costs. I alone can't subsidise this.

So here is the idea.

I'm going to loan him out. If you know of another group or individual that requires parts, this does not have to be shooting orientated, please give me a nod. He can handle parts up to 100mm wide and 200mm long .As long as it's not in competition with me.

There will probably have to be a minimum quantity to cover set up costs, but he is not VAT registered, so that's a bonus for Joe public. He will need a drawing or sample to keep costs down but he can also prototype. Any ideas passed through me will be in the strictest of confidence, I will even put that in writing if required. I just wish some of the other companies I have dealt with over the years had the same scruples.

He's not a people person and much prefers to be a back room boy,  so wants me to initiate contact. Obviously, if the product is a go, you will be able to communicate directly with him regarding final costs and payment.

Regards
Bob
