Cheers, haven't had a proper spannering project in years.

This is as it was aquired last summer, I was going to sell it on as bikes aren't really my thing,  but a biker mate said it would be an investment ....' in tidy' running condition or fully restored.
I think he's rather keen on getting his hands dirty too.

Hadn't been on the road since 1971, the previous owner (a neighbour) bought it in the 80s with the intention of rebuilding as his retirement project. He passed away 30 years ago and its been under the blankets ever since.

Time to dig out the imperial spanners.

By the way my good friend Rob has been working on this car for years and now its all come together happy days

Please do post when complete as i would love to see the finished project Squinty when done i like the green colour but i think with a classic bike like this it would be great to bring it back to how it looked when it was created don`t you think,

apparently it was tarted up to look like an A10 Super Rocket and painted red..old Jim wanted it all maroon like one he had in the 60s.
I think the green looks more sporty
and in keeping with standard BSA colours.

I would go green looks good in green and sporty  and the other hand red looks good too i like it in red also!
