Totally different beast to the rapid, no where near as quiet as the mfr but every bit as accurate, to pick it up it feels ungainly & quite weighty but once it's in the shoulder it fits & feels really nice! Lever on the left feels natural & didn't take any time to get used too, it's got a bit of a twang that I'm not used to but it's my first "modern day" rifle for at least 5th
In all honesty Mick it could be compared to a modern day rapid,  simple effective design that works

It is different I will say that.
It looks very well made and compact.
Im just used to my rapids I have gained a lot of faith in them over many years.

Same here kev, there's just something about a well sorted Rapid thats stood the test of time, the Mk2. 20 wont be going anywhere  ;)
Agt's seems to be gaining quite a reputation as solid built workhorses, they are defiantly not as fickle as fx's, its running a constant 11ftlb ive probably only put 60 pellets through it so it still needs a good few more to bed in

A well sorted Rapid takes some beating. I love my MK1`s. I like the look of it and if I wanted a more compact rifle I would certainly consider it, but will it stand the test of time like the Rapid has?

Carl.

Only time will tell,  I'm no guru at all tried to read as much about them as I could, people have commented on them being a modern day rapid, basic design that works not full of O rings like the fx,  it needs a bit of a fettle "id like to get internals polished and make sure reg is working well + with hammer spring & maybe see the twang can be quietened down a tad"  just need to find someone who can do it,
