So come on all, what guns have you had that were not popular ?

I've had a gunpowder stealth and a login sweet 16

Mr Bond

Career 707 springs to mind, tanker version. Not pretty but superb open sights (which is how I usrd it).

And a couple of Skan quick loading things, more jams than Robertsons  :-[
Non Sufficit Orbis

I have an inherited Logun S16 in the cupboard, ugly as sin but after a service and fettle accurate and very consistent.

Got to say rapid tbh. When local club opened years ago there was only me with a rapid and I know people did look down on it. People changed there mind after using it or when I beat them in a mini competition. It always made me smile and over the years a slow trickle of them turned up.

The year before covid hit us all there seemed to be a big surge in rapids at the club. Even the owner had one and it was great seeing all the different models, mods etc ...

afraid I have to agree with you on the early Rapid being one of those marmite guns.

Back in the late 80s and early 90s there was a hardware store around the corner from work with large airgun section at the back of shop and they stocked the full range of Theobens.

Every payday I used to go in with one of the guys from work,  don't think we looked at the Rapids more than a couple of times. We were much more interested in drooling over the Camargue, Khamsin.. the new TX200.

Anyway rumour was the Rapid build quality wasn't all that good.. nor was the accuracy ;D

Logun PRO mk2. Looks beautiful, to me. Never seened to be popular though. In .177 as accurate as anything, first time out six rabbits, all head shot, all instant lights out. About sixty to seventy full power shots on a fill needs a de-pinger though. Definately a keeper. Ken.

I must say I went through all the air arms side levers over the years from the ex88 upto the khamsin.
They are what I learnt to work on back in the day.
My fav gun was a Webley Hawk with two barrels and my m8,s took the p....out of me but I became a crack shot with it over time.
