Just tested my mfr on a chronograph and is putting out around 14fpe 🙄 and this has come from an rfd. The hammer spring adjuster is all the way out and can get it down to just over 12fpe with 7.33 grain pellets. Am I right in thinking a lighter set of springs would sort this out if so could anyone point me in the right direction to buy a set.
Thanks Aaron

Drop a Message to KevG....
He should set you how with a correct hammer-spring...
Or if you are want.. just clip coil off the hammer-spring until
you achieve the Velocity you want..

Good Luck

Thank you for the advice I will give clipping the spring a go first

I'd turn the reg down a couple of flats on the top nut.

Ca_Varminter

I know this may sound counter-intuitive.....
Turning down the Reg may increase the velocity...
Because due to the increased valve opening due to less less pressure to open it!!!
This all depends on the tune and balance of the Hammer-spring : Reg : Valve-spring!!
So this is the Life of a Tuner...
It is all a Balancing Act!!!
Like I said before...If in doubt, Ask KevG the Reg Expert!!!
