I do quite like the stock compared to a standard mk2 but the 500cc bottle is a bit too much.

I tried to get one of these when they first came out but demand outstripped supply, so I was told. Never seen one in the flesh so to speak. I bet they take some beating in FAC for distance shooting. Ken.

Shortly after Theoben went bust, I bought an S type second hand with 2 mags and an original Theoben rifle slip.  The gun was a very late model and immaculate condition.  I think I paid about £550 for it.   Not really needing it, I sold it not long after, gunslip included.  Wish I kept hold of the slip, they go for a fortune on their own now!

Was the S Type a ltd number or were they only produced for so long?

The sold a lot in FAC .25 cal....here in the states.
The air hungry Rapids loved that 500cc bottle.
But that is when they introduce that horrible Bronze Filter!!
Can't believe they still use them!

A original unmolested S type is rare for sale now in the UK ,and as Stuart says they were great for FAC  rated gals ,esp' in .25

When I first saw it I wondered WTF they had done to the underside of the stock, then I read about the accessory rail.
Still not sold on the shape that stock to be honest but the rail is a very nice addition...

But that bottle is absolutely HUGE!!!
I take it that you just unscrewed it like the MFR and used it as a priest when the high velocity .25 milk churn didn't kill the T-Rex outright  :P

Interesting rifle and a nice info share, thanks Daz
