A dumb question, apologies.... Mk1 and Mk2 parts compatability

Probably been answered hundreds of times before but my personal experience is just Mk2 based.

Ive got a rough idea of interchanagability, but wanted to sepcifically check on Mk1 Mk2 barrels and if they can be swapped, rifles from 2003 and 2005. I think most of the interals ie mags probes and hammers, exhaust values are broadly similar. I have 2 Mk2 barrels and 2 bottles in my gun room and a chance to pick up a used Mk1.  It would be great if they could be used.

Any advice appreciated.

hammers are definitely different  even between different mk2 trigger types.all valves fit but have to have the correct poring size for rapid type.

Thanks. How about barrels between the mk1 and mk2?

Barrels can swap but porting is different on a reg'd rife to a fast flow, FF's use a smaller port to give a wider "sweet spot" over the pressure drop
