Hi guys,

Ive just recently got myself a nice .177 Evo which Im loving and while its really accurate obviously the shot cycle is how it is best described a sharp lol (coming from springer shooting) and the trigger isn't a Record unit. Is there anyone out there that fettles them and could service or get the trigger as good as it could be ?

The .177s are a bit snappy to shoot I found, but the evo trigger isnt too bad I dont think, never going to be as fine as a rekord admittedly.
It should have two hex head screws, one inside the other in front of the trigger blade, the smaller inside one is the second stage adjustment, the larger outer one is first stage weight, careful adjusting the outer one as I found mine had a tendency to move the 2nd stage with it. Just a case of small tweaks on both until it suits, there is a sort of sweet spot there, its just finding it.

Hi Wolf,

Sorry mate only just seen your reply, I'll have a go and try to find an Allen key to fit the inside one as I have adjusted the outer one pretty much all the way in so it's got a tiny amount of first stage then a heavy second stage release.
Feels like it needs a longer first stage but as you say it's never going to be  a Rekord.

If you wind the big one out a quarter turn it should improve the first stage feel and give a bit more travel, the heavy second needs some fettling with the small inner screw.
I cant remember the sizes off hand, but they are imperial sized allen keys still on the evo im sure.
