Quote from: wollyhatman on May 10, 2026, 08:15:53 PMthanks for that mate, the only thing i know what to do with them is put air and pellets in them, would even attempt trying, thing would never work again, lol

I always buy valve body & stem as a pair, Dr Bob or KevG NOT ebay  ;)  simple to change, it's behind the plug between barrel & bottle.
Silly people fitting monster springs thinking they will get more power is the usual cause.

PS. If not used for years it may just be knackered O-rings on the stem & probably wants new seals all round

A smaller bottle is something I have been considering for some time. Having a 500cc and never shooting to empty, I thought a reduction of forward weight with a smaller bottle would be an advantage. Especially having a regulator fitted would ensure consistent shots.

Theoben Rapid Discussion / My Rapid has arrived!
Last post by Dr Fox - May 11, 2026, 08:10:14 AM
By the title I mean it's arrived after a journey of a few years of updating. This superb FAC rifle has offered me a new lease of life. So the journey continues. Brief history: bought at my local gun shop after its trade in for an FX. With Kev G's help and parts brought back to life. With many trials of pellets and slugs finally sorted. Did the usually scope swooping to find the ideal. Final configuration!
HW moderator, Best fittings composite bottle, Picatinny adaptor rail,Lanes Mk10 regulator and plenum, now topped off with the Zulus V2 sight. After night time bunny bashing at ranges from 83 to 124 yds, its proved astonishing. Day or night the Rapid is spot on and in its class I don't believe it has a comparison.

You've probably got a bent valve stem that's sticking open when your bottle pressure drops a bit.
Not expensive, but you'll need to know how to change it out.

Why don't you drop an email Directly to KevG...

Theoben Rapid Discussion / Help needed MFR Push Pin Disc
Last post by kena - May 09, 2026, 03:46:44 PM
Gents,
I have been a numpty and forgot to loosen the small grub screw before removing the push pin disc from my MFR. Does anyone know where I can source a replacement or have a spare they are willing to part with. I have sent Kev a message on his mobile but not sure if his number is the same
Thanks in advance,
Ken
