Decided to replace my battered lock knife with something a bit better...
Was sick of cleaning stuff out of the handle of the lock knife - so have gone for a nice little fixed blade...
Managed to get an ENZO necker in 12c27 stainless Steel with black micarta handle.
Blade length is less than 3 inches - but long enough to sort out any airgun quarry 👍
Put a nice lanyard on the kydex sheath with a plastic break away fitted - just in case....
Be good to see what knives you guys use when you're out shooting ...
Picked this up a couple of months ago from bushcraft, Guy Stainthrop blade it's only 160mm long with a 70mm blade, wickedly sharp
I've got a couple Enzo knifes Daz mine are curly Birchwood, very good they are, 1 is thin on the grind which I managed to put a crack in using it for what it wasn't meant for ie cutting branches that were in my way in hide
I'm very impressed with it mate - its full flat grind and after 2 minutes on my sharpmaker its shaving sharp 👍
Put the lanyard on earlier with a plastic break away fitted so I can't get hung by it in the woods 👍
Should make easy work of rabbits etc ....
Very nice Daz, let's hope it gets plenty of use.
Some very nice knives there you guys have.
I must get some pics of mine uploaded.
Regards Kev.
Still use a Gerber lock knife from years ago... great knife and takes an edge really well, but i have often thought of replacing it with a fixed blade.
Other than having a bit of crap in it from time to time, it's been a good tool. Do i NEED another? No, not really. Do i WANT one? Hell yeah...
