Evening all.
I have in my posssesion a loverly Tryolean stock.
It has a couple of hairline cracks in it. Each is about 1 inch in length. One is from butt end and the other is from the rear sling.
Whats the best fix for these please? Forces some woodglue in there? I did read about kaskamite? I need to bear in mind that the stock needs re-finishing and oiling.
Is there anyone on here who get do said work. I am capable, but do not have the time.
Thanks
nath92 on the agf is your man. He is very good.
Thanks. I'll give him a shout
I can confirm he is quite excellent at what he does... had quite a few stocks re-finished by him and they really are exceptional.
In fact, i'm off to see him Monday to drop off my Mk2 stock for him to refinish. I'll get some pics up of before and after so the forum can see what his work is like.

Sounds like a good guy to know for the stocks.
Regards Kev.
I've seen photos of his work, well actually I've seen stocks with nothing wrong with them that were broken or smashed before he worked what can only be described as witchcraft. :)
