Title: help please
Post by: Fallguy on August 28, 2020, 07:00:01 PM
hi all,i have not used my MK2 rapid for about 3 yrs through ill Health(Parkinsons),my 7 ltr Air bottle been sent away for new test but buddy bottles ok,tried my gun today dry firing and bolt and trigger ok but no Air being expelled so thought bottle was m/t but it seemed tight and under pressure when removing, put a bottle on that i knew was full and the same problem, ive removed Reg and connected to bottle and no air getting through,i am not mechanically minded and honestly know nothing about rapid internals,a old member serviced the gun a few years ago and put a kevg micro Reg in.I feel so hopless and Helpless no strength to even screw the bottle on and off,i am getting the gun ready to sell so any help and advice would be really appreciated.First of all do i need a new reg.many thanks Dave.

Yeah it inside the body the piston core and washers are different  to standard and use less beville washers  kevg does and gives u more pre chamber volume and gives  more shots

Seems to be a lot of that on here... long may it continue.

Kev has kindly agreed to give my Mk2 the once over and a bit of a fettle. Did my .20 MFR a while back and it was sublime when he finished it.
