So I've fitted my new scope onto my new scope rings and the cheek piece on my Rapid 7 MK1 stock has now become a chin rest cos I can't comfortably rest my cheek on the stock and see down the scope. What I fancy doing now is cutting the stock and fitting an adjustable mechanism in there, thing is where do you get these from ?? Been all over the net and found very little available in the UK. Can any of you custom stock guys help me out, you may even get the job !!
Morning Topsparx1, if you can't find anyone on here to do the job, there are one or two on the airgun forum that do it. I'm not sure how busy they are though 👍
I had the same problem, but instead bought a coping saw and had a go myself. Luckily I knew someone who could turn up some bushes for me, and then I used shoulder bolts as the stems Then refinished the stock and it worked a treat.

Bloke called Nobby on AGF does a very good job at a very good price. He has done a few of my stocks now and really rate his work.

Very nice looking stock that is, what model rifle ?, loving the butt pad too did he do that as well, I've looked at his work on the AGF he seems to be doing everyone's stocks, busy man is Nobby but what a great job he does, fast turn around also it seems 👍🏻👍🏻
its a gsx 200. Just finished getting it how i want it.
.20 300mm barrel,220cc carbon bottle and a reflexing silencer by a certain Mr Burton.
I did the but pad myself. Bisley adjustable with a 10mm nylon spacer and aly inset to get LOP right for me.
Also fitted a pic. rail up front.
What a lovely bit of kit 👍🏻 If it shoots as good as it looks (I'm sure it does) its a real package. Great job on the butt pad and I like the cocking bolt as well is that custom or standard not familiar with the GSX 200
It shoots pretty good.... 8).
With the pad I just took my time when fitting it.Only got access to basic hand tools so was all done with with a hacksaw and files/wet and dry paper.
The cocking bolt is standard impact/gsx. Some dont like them but i think they are really tactile.
Very nice and unique indeed.
May do something myself along side like that.
Thank you for quality pics.
Regards kev.
Just got my stock back from Nobby down in Devon, Vard put me on to him through the AGF, gotta say what a nice guy to deal with and I think he's done a top job for a decent price, He only had the stock for two days and then posted it back. Adjustable cheek riser and Bisley butt pad fitted and finished. What do you think guys ??
Vard where did you get the carbon bottle from?. I was thinking of getting one as my mk2 has a 300mm barrel, but thought it would touch barrel. Md

Nobby did this one for me
Great work done on both stocks 👍
Does he supply the adjuster chassis too?
Makes it all himself Daz, does them in brass too if that floats your boat, really neat work !!

Got the 220cc carbon bottle off Best Fittings. Not really a gain to be honest over a 200cc luxfer as the carbon one is heavier if thats a consideration....
