Wonder if any of you chaps can help me.
I appreciate that the Yukon is old tech now, but its all I've got, so looking for some mounting options for a rapid mk1.
I dont want anything that will compromise a normal head position, neither am I looking for anything that will give a scope height over about 50mm (centre of sight line to centre of barrel).
Can anyone offer any advice? Or am I looking at something that can't be done?
I've seen one Yukon mounted, which did look high and a little too far back.
Thanks Rob
Option 1....30mm rapid scope mounts.
Option 2.....Dr Bob rail and set of any other mounts for eye relief.
They are simple to fit onto a rapid I have a spare Yukon here I have not used in over a year.
Regards Kev.

Hi Kev
Looking at the mount postions, I can't imagine the 30mm mounts would work as they'd be shoving the Yukon way too far forward.
Did you use yours with 30mm mounts in the fixed positions ?
Thanks
I had mine on Dr Bob rail.
Mine also had doubler fitted no probs with eye releif.
Regards kev.
Cheers Kev
A mate's sending me a weaver rail up to try so I can gauge the height.
If it looks like it will work, I'll order a rail and some mounts
