Today while I was washing the pots I saw two large brown rats going under my shed at the bottom of my garden.
We have never had rats in the past only small mice at winter.
I cant shoot them due to neighbours next door don't like guns and will be on phone.
I only have mouse traps so added some brass wire to two traps and tied to washing line pole and left baited up behind a tile so birds cant get to bait on traps.
Just a waiting game now all night if need be.
Regards kev.
I do hope you have more luck than i did Kev, You`ll have to post pictures in the hunting thead show us how you caught them.
:)
Hi Kev. Invest in a live catch rat cage. They only cost about the same as a tin of good pellets and if looked after they last years. I`ve had one for over twenty years and it`s still going strong. Once caught a pistol will do the job. If neighbours are anti you can always tell them that you release them somewhere else. Ken.
Hi kennyboy.
I have made many live traps over the years and have some in my shed but we have the sort of neighbours next door who are into wildlife and have even reported me in past for catching magpies on my garden.
I have not seen them in over a week now.
Regards kev.
Catch the rats and put them through the neighbours letter box. :o
KCE,
Here is a nice little CO2 powered Head-Thumper!!
