I'm looking into doing a bit of a bling thing. Just playing really ::) any way the laser isn't powerful enough to engrave metal ( no Mr Bond I expect you to die) so here's the next idea.Laser cut out the design on  blanking tape and acid etch into it. I have some Ferric Chloride arriving by Amazon Prime to day . Just in time for my wife to play over the weekend. 8)

Oooooh look dear an engraved brass plaque would look good on some of that craft work you do...... translated means I bet you can work out how to do some fancy scroll work on some side plates

If I did that to my older sister.....well they would be needing a New Admin here!
But nice use of the Laser!!

So far epic fail. It seems the tape I'm using has left some residue and protected the exposed surface from the acid ::) ::).

Back to the drawing board..............take two.
