Title: Bottle leaking air
Post by: Meteor 62 on June 08, 2026, 05:25:28 PM
Just filled my bottle to 200 bar. Turned the air release knob on the dive bottle and it released constant air as opposed to the quick loud hiss I usually get. Released the buddy bottle and it just leaked air out of the end until depleted. Normal problem? easy fix?

If it an Old style ball-baearing valve...
I quick blast of air when filling can help clear it.
If it is the New style black Acetal valve, they are less prone to leaking..
But may need a new acetal valve piece machined.
But this Why the all bottles came with an aluminum cap, seal it while not installed on your Rapid
