I`ve removed some admin staff because i don`t want or need them to have any control over anything until they get a grip and think about how long it took to create this site while they was hugged up in bed with there wife while Lurk and me was coding until late creating this site like it is to date.
Just like to add that Stuart Varminter has been so loyal to our forum unlike others, So i would like to say any other forum`s thinking of admins or moderators then i would highly recommend Staurt Varminter on this site.

I can see some of you members are concerned about what`s going on and what`s happening right now, So I'll try my best to explain below.
Personally i think all started by me getting upset with KevG when i found out he was helping out members on Facebook instead of helping out here that made my blood boil if i was honest as we have all put loads and loads of work into this site that was created for him.
Now don`t get me wrong i think the world of KevG and i always will, But more to the point is that i thought after all the work we have all put into this site for him he would be posting on Facebook telling them to come across to his very own personal site and he`ll answer all the question or repairs right here on his very own site that is not controlled by the Facebook police that can ban and delete post`s as soon as something goes wrong on a post.
On a personal note, Many many years ago when i phoned KevG up to see how he was doing he told me he was upset and that he`d been banned from the Theoben Rapid owners club, So that`s when i told him i was thinking of creating a forum and if he likes i would create one just for him.
Now don`t get me wrong even though i control every part of this site if he said that he wants me gone i would sign everything over to him in a heart beat i wouldn`t even think twice about it.
But come on posting on Facebook and letting his members on this site ask for help and not even both to respond now that's bad.
Now once again I'll never fall out with KevG to the point that things cannot get sorted because i like the guy too much, But on that note i did out of anger block and delete him from my phone along with his friend KCE and the reason i did this is because i ask my good friend Lurk to help out on this forum and he`s a key member of SMF & TP and plus he`s a great friend of mine so i new we could work great together to create such a site like this that is still growing and who knows what the future brings for such a site like this with us all working on it like we do.
Me & Lurk had BIG idea`s for this site and sometimes i also think we used a site like this for testing SMF, TP , and my code just to see how it would perform but that`s another story.
Anyway all we can do now is sit back get the pop corn out and wait to see what happens next.

Long life Theoben Rapid Forum..... if it be on Facebook or on a forum like this....Hopefully on a forum like this not as much policing or controlling but hey ho is what it is.....
The future will decide the fate of such a forum like this but I'm afraid to say that i won't be apart of it as I'm 57 now and i cannot and will not put up with it anymore! I`d rather just spend time with my family and have fun with my Daughters children somehow it seems a better place to spend my time....not so sure why! but it does?
On a personal note!
This site has 2 years server time on it and i was going to put another 3 years on it but naa not now!
So at the site latter end i will put this site up for new owners and good luck to them with everything this site has to offer!
Everyone will be considered but Stuart Will have the first say if he wants it,..... as i say that will be in two years from now,.....I`m not even sure if Lurk or Me will be around then as life is so unpredictable and who knows what's around the corner!

Personally speaking I much prefer the slower pace & friendlier atmosphere of a forum to farcebook, but I also know full well that I'm probably in the minority.
Forums support those who have a long term interest in a subject where FB appears more of a quick pop in, ask, & leave.
You obviously care deeply about this forum, having started it, it's your baby, but I have to say that I can't see a problem if someone also uses FB to communicate with those people who don't use forums, because there are a lot of them out there.
I hope the forum can continue on for many years to come for the benefit of all of us who do use it.
Life is too short to bear grudges so let's keep the forum alive and going to the the benefit of all its members.
I am sure that KevG only answers questions on Facebook because he likes to help people out when and wherever he can.
I for one appreciate the hard work that you and Lurk have put into this forum and long may it continue.

Lets not go the same fate as the old forum.
You have to bear in mind, some Rapid owners have children, therfore, they set their Internet connection to safe mode. This automatically blocks forums and sites that mention shooting or airguns. I've had this when I've been away in our motorhome on camp sites. Facebook will allow access to other account holders, so that's how they communicate.
When we had Sky Fibre Broadband installed, I couldn't access this forum, or the AGF as the default setting was Safe Mode. I had to go into the menu and try to remember the password before I could alter it to my needs.

I think you're totally missing the point here. This site was made for KevG, and I'll always stand by that. Whether he comes on the site or not, it's still KevG's site.
What concerns me is that it's been nearly two months since KevG has even logged into his own site. That makes me wonder if he's unwell, or if he's simply decided to step away from the site altogether.
I've tried really hard to make things work on this site, Brooksy. In the post I decided to delete, you said that all the effort I put into coding was a waste of time because nobody noticed it or understood it.
But from my point of view, I was trying to create something special for KevG because I genuinely think a lot of him. Believe it or not, KevG and I are actually very close friends — or at least I'd like to think we are.
I know KevG posted that I'd "seen my arse" over him posting on Facebook instead of on here, and if I'm being honest, yes, I probably did. The reason is simple: seeing him active on Facebook while not being here helping members on his own site did bother me.
But here's the difference — I'm still here, still trying, still putting effort into keeping things going. Meanwhile, KevG hasn't logged into the site for nearly two months now. That's what's frustrating me more than anything.
You know what though, whatever. I'm just getting worn out with all the debate and back and forth now. I really am.
I think after this I'm going to just take a step back!
As you can all see, KevG and KCE have both been made Admins again. I let my emotions get the better of me and acted out of frustration, but I've now put things right and restored them both to where they belong. I won't be removing them from that position again.
I want to apologise to both KevG and KCE for doing that in the first place. It was done in the heat of the moment, and after thinking things through properly, I know it wasn't the right thing to do.
What I don't understand is why things have ended up like this between everyone, because it was never like this back in the day. This place used to feel different — everyone got on, helped each other out, and the forum felt like a proper community. That's honestly all I've ever wanted to keep going.

The site looks great, you don't need to make alterations and spend too much time doing so, surely.
I've spoken to Kev quite recently and he's trying to reduce his workload, so maybe that's one reason he has for not logging on, he'll spot a request for work and knowing him, he'll take it on and not take any time off. When I spoke to him, he didn't sound well at all, he definitely needed a rest.
