Title: Need a rapid 12 Magazine
Post by: Rapid44 on January 16, 2026, 12:49:51 PM
Sorry....probably v boring topic to all you experienced owners but....

I just lost the opportunity to bag a tree rat as I was forced to mess about reloading my 1 and only mag which came with my Rapid 12.

I'd like an original mag but they seem to be like hens teeth so please what is the best of the few brands of aftermarket mags available that are reliable ?? (As I read some have seals that can come off and get stuck in the barrel port?)

Thanks in advance for advice on a mundane/ boring topic

I like the Carm magazines, I have them in .177, .20, .22, .25, and .30. Never had any problems with them.

Half the price of the orginal style and easier to load. Also have the single shot loaders from them.

Dr Bob has the orginal style magazines, but there are plenty 3d printed one's to be bought.

Thanks I like the look of those CARM mags too, but I did read somewhere else that a user had a CARM mag seal break that got stuck in their barrel port, requiring a strip down to rectify.

How long have you been using Carm mags? and have they always been trouble free?

I am using the magazines for about 5/6 years started with .22 and .25 and the .20  I have about 4 years. The .177 and .30 I have those about a year.

Never had a problem with them, still have the original o-Rings and the work perfect.
Easier to load than the original and to use in my opinion.

Thanks I'm going order a couple, despite the shipping time to arrive from Croatia
