After the Theoben Mark4 trigger stunned the Rapid World, but before Dr Bob's Mark4 trigger did the Same..
There was the Gordon Dawson Full Race BR Trigger!!!
The Trigger was a concept between Chip Smith and Gordon Dawson(Chip and Gordy)
They both worked on the CAD design and Machining of the parts!!
There were many prototypes until they got a design they liked.
The full race version has two hybrid ceramic ball-bearing supporting the trigger and sear strut!

The one piece of the puzzle that kept Chip and Gordy up at night during the prototyping..
The return spring for the sear arm!!
The solution came from the depths of Chip's tool box.
He found and old German made spring winder.
So that spring in every trigger was handmade by Chip!
Now for a few photos.........

Gordy supplied 3 different pull weight spring with the triggers.

Of course I can't leave anything alone...I needed to personalized it.
So I CNC milled an adjustable trigger arm the uses the anschutz adjustable trigger!

Oh wow that is a piece of art, I bet your over the moon with it 8)
some cracking info there Stuart with very nice and clear pics to follow.
That is some piece of engineering you are doing there and the end result I bet is a sheer joy to use.
Thank you for the upload.
Regards Kev.

Great looking work 👍👍👍
Custom made triggers are always interesting - to see the care and detail that's gone into producing them - with properly honed Sears faced at the correct angles 👍👍👍
Chip and Gordon don't mess around..
This level precision, their work was amazing!!
The funny part of sears angles and finish.
I had to tell Gordon I diamond hone the sear on my trigger from him.
He was sort of taken back!
I had reassure him that I do this to every trigger I own..
Nothing is perfect, Perfection is in the eye of the beholder!

Wow amazing work there, superb 8)
very impressive work
Are these still available anywhere?
Gordon
These were made in limited numbers...
You may see them for sale......
FYI, Godon(Gordy) is not into airguns or machining anymore....
He started his own construction company..
Stuart
:-[ Oh well you never know. Would they fit a raw tm1000
They should....
Since the Trigger in the RAW guns are Mark 4 triggers...
RAW is a Company that Martin Rutherford( the last CEO of theoben) started over here....
Stuart
Perfection is in the eye of the beholder! Don't you mean Beerholder ;) ;)
Bob
That is the berries.
Did any of these make it to the UK , would be very Interested in getting hold of one.
