Title: Suggestions: Any solution to fitting IR torch to the Hikmicro Alpex 4K LITE?
Post by: NightOwl on July 29, 2025, 12:14:57 PM
Does anyone have a practical solution to fit an IR torch to the Hikmicro Alpex 4K Lite to my MK1 Rapid?
I find that there is not enough body tube on the scope to fit a clamp or bracket without interfering with the controls. Is it possible to remove the top part of the front scope mount to attach something that way? I'm out of ideas what to buy to overcome this obvious problem that in hindsight I should have seen before purchasing the Alpex.

Have you taken a look at Ant Supplies? They stock a wide range of mounts and adaptors.

the IR torch seller will have the correct mounts you need,..bigger problem is the ALPEX sits so high on the Rapid that you wont get a proper cheek weld on a standard stock.
