Title: Hi everyone, Great Forum!.
Post by: Chris3j on May 20, 2025, 07:44:44 PM
Just a quick introduction to be polite. I was a member of the last forum - Which seemed to just Stop.. ??

I'm not really sure what to write here.

OK, I'm Chris, I'm from South Wales & I'm a Gunaholic!.  ;D

Great forum guys!. I've read and had a lot of help and advice from posts by members that are on here, on the previous site and look forward to doing the same and helping anyone if I can.

I've recently bought an FAC Rapid Mk2 Anchutz trigger model - Which I'm very impressed with.
So I'll be selling my sub 12 ft/lb Rapid Mk2.
I also have rimfire's, centerfire's and shotguns. - I'm a Gunaholic! Lol.
& I'm sure most people on here are too.

Right, that's my introduction - Speak to you all soon.

Kind Regards
Chris

Here she is, my Rapid MK2 FAC Anchutz trigger model. 19" BSA screw cut barrel, Rob Lane Moderator - Which is a slip on. It's very long - But the gun is quieter than my 12ft/lb MK2 Rapid with original Vortex silencer.

It's a .22 running 30ft/lb. Very accurate!

I'm impressed how accurate it is.

I like it a lot!!.  ;D

Hi guys,

Not sure if this is the right place, or if I should have started a new thread.
But here goes.

As I know that for most Rapid's & They're owners it's "a small world" as they say - As all have probably at least browsed the forums and more than likely, communicated with other Rapid owners.
Which I think is awesome!.

So I was wondering - Does anyone know my gun? Or its previous owner?

I bought it off Guntrader on New Years Eve, it hadn't been listed long.
From a very polite, older gentleman called Roy from West Sussex.
He said he'd had the gun well over 20 years. Not sure if he had it from New? As it came with the original paperwork / owners manual, etc.

Just wondering if anyone knew the gun?
As he said he had accuracy problems, which he seeked help on & turned out to be a bent barrel - Hence the BSA upgrade.

I think I had an absolute bargain!.

Just wondering.

Oh, and just to make you smile.

I had it transferred to my local RFD,
and when I went to collect, I was so excited to get home, fit my scope and test it. - I bought a new tin of JSB's while I was there..

I got home & I'd only gone & picked up a tin of .20 instead of .22 hadn't I..
What a plonker!.  :-\
