Thought that I would like a very lightweight rapid.....
So using a RAW regulator quickfill gauge setup I fitted a 100cc buddy bottle with a WP of 232bar - that was fitted into a profile MFR stock to keep the weight down and then fitted a short 13" barrel. With the 100cc bottle fitted it was 99% covered by the MFR stock - it looks like there isnt a bottle fitted 😎
Very Nice light and compact Daz.
I bet you were glad you fitted the quick fill during the build.
You seem to have developed a knack of what you want from a rapid when it comes a new project.
Regards Kev.
You can see here the size difference between the 100cc and 280cc bottles
The quickfill was essential Kev as otherwise to remove the bottle to charge it - I would have had to remove the stock 😲
But it was the lightest rapid I've ever used - even with the 100cc bottle the shot count wasnt too bad....
How many shots daz

Think it was around 70 mate
I'd turned it down to just under 11 fpe too
But really lightweight and handy 👍
Nice work Daz.
Cheers mate it really did turn out well - I've still got it but now its fitted with a 120cc tube and sits in a gsx100 stock 👍
I use the 100cc bottle on my regulator tester now 😎
Great stuff matey I remember seeing this years ago and it was you who gave us the info on where to get the little bottle. Cracking build and yes it's light 8)
