Title: MFR style Pin Disc - for TTR2 needed
Post by: MartinTTR2 on April 27, 2025, 06:50:06 PM
Does anyone know where I can get a MFR type Pin Disc?

I have just had a seal go on my TTR2 - the pin disc seal... not fun with a full bottle.
I replaced the polyurethane O-ring only to have a 2nd one leak...
On investigation - the Pin Disc is looking pretty bad. Clearly something has got down there and done damage. Onne side of the seal area is roughed up while the other is definitely scored.

So - does anyone know where I can get a new/serviceable MFR type Pin Disc?

Regards - Martin

Ask Kev G nicely and he'll make one for you.

Yep, KevG made me a few, they're well beyond my lathe skill level.

that disc looks like it's been turned with the grub screw in place at some time

KevG - It does look like that - a right mess.
Someone has been inside the gun before me. The reg stem was scraped and the hex drive was rounded.

I've looked everywhere for a replacement Pin Disc.

KevG... do you have any hanging around your workshop or shelves?
