Does anyone know where I can get hold of this part which is the part that pushes the gas ram to cock it. It's almost a machined bolt that fits within the main tube
Found the part, it's called a cocking shoe or cocking lever button. I've only found the Evolution buttons available, does anyone know whether they are all the same buttons over the different rifle models?
Hello Matty. Don't know if the Evo cocking shoes are compatible with the Sirocco but I would guess they are. Seems that a lot of the rammers internals are the same and its mainly the stocks that differ. I got a replacement and a spare (made from stainless) for an Evo from 'TR Robb Airgun Specialists' site some time ago and they are still listed on their site at 13 quid. Maybe worth a punt at the price if nothing else crops up. Seems that it's not uncommon for the shoes to wear out or break.
I have seen the Evo ones at Robbs and I think I'll end up getting one and giving it a try. I found a US website that listed the evo and Fenman/Sirocco as different cocking shoes which has what has made me question if it's right. Probably for £13 it's worth a go as the gun is useless as is.
Hello Matt. Looked again at the photo and your Sirocco cocking shoe and it could be a different shape to those I got from Robbs for my Evo. I'll try and find the spare I have asap for comparison with the one in the photo and let you know. Impact Air Rifles/Selective Arms who acquired the remnants of the Theoben spares stock and machinery could be the last resort but it seems they now only provide the replacement parts when you send them an air rifle for repairs or servicing. Bit pricy but I had a couple of rammers repaired and serviced by them and they have worked fine.

The Evo shoe is shaped like a 15mm long flat head rivet with a circular 10mm diameter flat disc at the head, 5mm diameter pin. Your Sirocco shoe looks to be rectangular and formed to suit the ram cylinder. The Evo one could maybe modified to work but would probably involve trial and error.

I'm pretty sure it should be circular not rectangular, it's worn itself rectangular and managed to jump out of the cocking slot. It has had 10's of thousands of pellets through it. I think for the price I'm going to try an Evo shoe and see if it fits.
I bought an Evo .20 calibre from a RFD about 12 years ago. I put a few pellets through it in the shops little indoor range and all seemed fine. Got it home, removed the stock and the cocking lever swung free from it's slot. The shoe had just about disintegrated and seemed to have been held in position by a wad of solidified crud. I was going to take it back to the RFD but the shop was 100 miles away and I'd called in for a gander when I'd been working nearby. The Evo hadn't cost me much so I decided to send to Impact for the repair and a full service. Been working great ever since, although it's not had a massive amount of use. Later saw the shoes available from Robbs so bought a couple for spares as I have a few rammers that i want to keep running.
