Think I'll save my money and buy a proper rapid.  I do like the stock though.

Lovely looking wood - but its a "special edition" RAW made in the USA with a Theoben marking

Few more pictures on AGF yesterday and whilst the stock(s) appear to have stunning grain I don't like the shape of the butt.
Lost the lean classic look with a rather horrible modern (kinda Daystatey) cut away underneath and a semi-tac 'I only shoot off a bench bag' lead up to a huge black shouder pad.
Chunk of quailty grain missing in the 'belly' & short on the length.

Not as bad as Gary Cane's massive lumps of walnut that adorned Rapid 7s in the 90s but close

Looks awesome but for the money some proper hand cut checkering would be nice instead of that lazer cut crap.

short video from the show on AGF- the stocks are slimmer than the sneak preview pics made them appear.

However (and unfortunately because I don't like their HW-100 offerings) they are Form stocks.
Kinda expalins the ugly semi-tac butt and huge 3-way adjustable pad.

I think it looks nicer than Daystate or Air Arms offerings. Certainly nicer than anything Weihrauch have too.

I like the look, I just can't fathom the price......Daystate nailed it with the Black Wolf in terms of price and gun.....if the Raw was a similar price, I probably would have been tempted.

Apparently going to be built back in the UK, I did have a very good look at it, but a Rapid with a side lever, it just doesn't feel right. I was tempted but I have 5 Rapids and 2 vendetta's already.
