The rapid journey started for me with a purchase of a very nice and original MK2 .20 in original CS800. Quite a late model- 2009 I believe from serial number. Was instantly blown away by it, especially given that the original owner (from new) said it had never been apart / still had anti tampers in place.

No different to any other rifle I had owned, quickly found the thumbhole stocks are not my preference, so an MFR stock and 280cc bottle were sourced. Along with a custom CF shroud (now painted black), to complete it.

The second purchase was a rapid / gsx cylinder build project in .177. All now up and running, and ridiculously accurate. Not quite finished yet though.

I'll update this thread, as the build of the latest addition progresses or any new additions are made👍

Both very nice Joe, I must admit, I was tempted by the cylinder build project myself.

Hello and thank you, yes I do still have the stock just in case I ever want to revert back to a big bottle

You wouldn't consider selling/doing a deal against a standard mk2 stock would you?
Sorry mate, not looking to move it on.
Looking good 👍
Very nice.
Did a little work stripping the stocks, MFR had 2 small dinks to steam out, now both re-oiled, around 3 coats so far...
