Hi
So i recently bought an early Rapid 7 0001919 to return to as near original as possible, upon removal from the non standard stock it was clear that the action had been subject to some heavy handed vice gripping. A quick fly cut on the mill removed the Vice jaw marks ( only 4 thou per side face ), not sure how to proceed with re-finishing the action i decided to have a go at Cerekote finish my self, after a light shot blast, degrease, paint application and curing at 130c I am quite please with the results, maybe a bit too high gloss level.
I am after a complete RH standard stock with trigger guard and But plate if anyone knows of one for sale.
thanks
Alan

What about Custom Stocks Sheffield for a stock? Probably better and cheaper than eBay ?

Even though they made Theobens stocks CS won't/don't make copies of the originals..
Looking forward to the finished job.
