Title: Quick leak question
Post by: Wilyfox on September 17, 2024, 07:24:00 PM
Am I right in thinking that if my Rapid is leaking from the breach/barrel area, that it must be an exhaust valve/probe issue?

Cheers
Phil.

Also it maybe a seal on the Valve-body....

Btw... is your Rapid's bottle loosing pressure...
or are you feeling a puff of air when you shoot your Rapid??

or possibly the valve location grub.
MFR? a 3x1 o-ring..same as the valve stem will sort that.

Thanks for the replies chaps.
It's losing air when I fill it, so I can't currently use it.
It was leaking from the reg, but Kev sorted this.
When I stripped it to replace the reg I thought I might as well replace all the other seals while it was apart, now it's leaking from the valve, but it's never leaked from there before!
I just want the damn thing to work so I can use it!! Haha.

Cheers
Phil.

it happens..it's happened to me.
I often mess around with different valves and for unknown reasons new o-rings leak.
