I haven't posted in a while, and the truth of the matter is I have neglected to shoot my rapids for a little while....too much other stuff to test, and random purchases which I wasn't expecting. :-) it has meant that I have ended up with a full lefty TM1000, however thats not the point of this post :-)
I have a rifle affectionately known as "the runt" - this is because it was built by a friend of mine and is a miture of all sorts - Sentinel Stock, S type block, quick fill, AA Barrel, MFR valve and bottle.....however, little runty started life for HFT and put other rifles to shame.......
I now have 4 barrels to test and decided runty was going to be the tool to use....so I stuck a CZ barrel I had on it and last weekend started pellet testing.....I tried 20 different batches of pellets and 19 of them were doing sub 5p groups at 40 yards.
So for something which hasn't been shot for a while, certainly took it in its stride and kind of reminded me how could the platform really is :-) I am now looking forward to testing the other three barrels as well as stretching little runty's legs :-) Pic of the groups.....hopefully I can get things tighter when I have decided which pellets to focus on :-)
