Hi Guys, does anyone have any info on the E type, looking for technical drawing or exploded diagram, I have had this sat in my workshop for a while, I am just getting around to taking a look at it. the problem with it is it wont cock, I have not taken it apart yet, has anybody stripped one down.

very easy to work on,everything is prity self evident.got some breakdown pictures I did on an old phone somewhere.will try and find them out.

It was Theoben's solution to making a Rapid more Affordable!!
But at expense of adding more O-rings....
Also the released it couple of years before they closed..
So no diagrams or pdfs were released to the public..
Overall, it was cool Concept...switchable from right to left handed action!

OK, from what i have found out about this E type is One of the bottles leak out of a small hole near the Gauge end of the cylinder ( both cylinders have their own gauge ) there is a small vent hole on the side of the cylinder that is leaking Air. The other Cylinder is holding Air no problem, However when I put the good cylinder on the Rifle it's leaking from around the regulator are and from what I can see it's the MFR type, So where is the best place to get a O ring set for a MFR regulator. Hopefully I can get it up and running without too much bother.

you sure it's an mfr reg.the ones I've seen don't have a reg,instead they have the bottle adapter from an mfr reg with the push pin disc locking grub screw sealed as not to leak,same as atmospheric bleed hole.ive fitted a couple of these with regs but the mk2 style not mfr.

Not sure yet Kev, you could be right. the reason I thought it was a MFR reg is because you can just unscrew the Bottle without burping it first. Both of the Cylinders are leaking, The Valves seem fine But the gauges are leaking internally on both of them, so some kind of replacement gauge is in order, once I have sorted the leaky cylinders then I can work out whats leaking on the Rifle itself.
