Does someone on here know what material is used on an AWT silencer.
Well mine appears to be machined from Delrin bar & then roughed with scotchbrite.

Yes I guess the ends and internal are delrin but not sure what tube is made of, I'm sure Ian collins told me moons ago but darn if I can remember. Old age setting in.

As I said mine is made of delrin, tube & all, just got different finishes.

Ok thanks
The outer tube is Marshall Tufflex 38mm o/d, 2.5mm wall, unfortunately the black conduit was discontinued a few years ago.
Tried a couple of other makes - totally different stuff, brittle, heavier, certainly not straight or with consistent thickness walls. Also warp like mad on a sunny day.
Best option is to remake the end caps & support and use 38x34mm carbon tube, however the damping properties of the PVCU are better than CF and a layer of felt is required.
The baffle tube; more Tufflex? 16mmx2mm (or rigid water pipe) with crimped/captive M6 nylon washers.
Still looking for a suitable product and a crimping tool.
my original FAC mod in 2007 quiet as.
Rebuilt shorty on my sub-12 S-type, no reflex & 1/2" UNF, very quiet.

the baffle system works brilliantly, it swaps over to carbon tube and a little felt very well.
I had one of them years ago,it had like a cris cross pattern on it,I thought it was made of delrin but I might wrong ATB jazz 😁
