How many members are using lead free pellets in there rapids. With any success
Not being funny but does it really matter if they are lead free or not,.......
What i mean is are you target shooting or hunting,...If hunting does it really matter!
I have heard of certain types of permissions require it... Like anywhere they process grain!!
H&N Barracudas seems to do the trick.... but since they are leadless...they are lite pellets
I've tried a few with varying degrees of success, the JSB lead free seem to be the best, My BSA Scorpion SE .25 loves them.
I did quite a long review over on the AirgunBBS.
The issue with all the lead free is the zinc alloy is just way too hard so they don't deform/expand at all,
utterly useless to shoot prey.
Thank god it appears lead pellets will be exempt any restrictions.

Yes one of my permissions has ask if we can go lead free.
As stated above....
These are made from a tin/zinc alloy...harder than lead!!
So be careful of pass-throughs!!
If you are shooting in sensitive structures(wood) and the owner don't like holes...
Go for Heart/lung shots...Center Mass...
Good Hunting!
