Title: Black teardrop bolt handles
Post by: Bearded Sniper on January 06, 2024, 11:24:17 AM
Morning
I've got a TTR2 courtesy of @nevadacowboy that came with a black teardrop bolt handle. A mate many yrs ago ordered one new from the factory that came with a standard ball version (albeit parkerised)
I know DrBob occasionally offers raw stainless ones, but was wondering if anyone knew where the black ones come from??
Cheers

I hate to recommend anything from him but pcpairgunparts on the bay has them for sale.

Surely even he can't get a bolt handle wrong  :o

The ones pcp airgun parts are selling are powder coated stainless steel. I asked him yesterday.

You can't blue stainless, that's why there either painted or powder coated.

I've no idea who he is,
He copies loads of parts, not always very well, supplies prechambers that simply dont work & when challenged blamed the use of Bob & Kev's part for his c**p not working, I won't touch anything else of his with a barge pole, but if you want a black teardrop bolt handle...

Apart from the powder coating coming off in the gate pretty quicky I would guess that the stainless shaft isn't hardened so it will wear too.
