Hello again, I was a previous member on the old site probably some 5 or 6 years ago. I bought my mk 1 rapid second hand around 2008.
It had been " tuned" but had poor accuracy. I ask around on the forum and was put in touch with Kev.G who agreed to have a look at it for me. I was a fireman at the time (Retired now) so on a day off I took it over to his house where he worked his magic in the garden workshop. An amazing place.
The "tune" he explained was a proper bodge job. He machined some new parts, gave it a full service and set it to 11.8ft/lb
I used it for a few years and it was spot on before I lost my permission. It then sat in my cupboard for several years. We moved house over lock-down to Lancashire, then spent 18 months renovating our new property.  Finally I feel I now have time to get back into shooting, so going to start asking around for permissions.
Are there any other members over this way ? Look forward to catching back up on here.
Cheers for now, Dodge.
