Having a small spot of bother with Dr Bob's QF. Sent mails and awaited reply. After some delay this AM I had a reply. From Dr Bob in a hospital ward, "cant deal at the moment but will attend when I expect to be out, perhaps in 7 days".
Now if there is an occasion when my problems are a mere trivia, then this is one.
Dr Bob has had my best thoughts and wishes for his return to 100% health.
I might be last one to know he is at present out of touch, but never the less his reply from the ward has kicked my feet away.
Respect!
Wasn't aware Bob was in Hospital, so best regards for a speedy recovery.
What's the nature of the issue, someone can often help.
Get well soon Bob.

Hi All.
I have felt unwell for quite some time but never quite been able to nail it down. Headaches, tired, confused plus others.
Anyway after a foot operation under general aesthetic I was coming around and heard mores code. Turns out I had gone into defibrillation. This on it's own isn't a big deal but they put me on a 24 hour ECG monitor and that picked up tachycardia. The combination of the two is a ticking time bomb.So much so the consultant said HE was scared. I'm due to have an angiogram on Monday but don't think that will show up much as the symptoms come and go. Think it's more likely to be the pacemaker route.
Looking forward to getting my energy back and moving on with some more projects.
Bob
Mate, there's a lot they can do but please do as they say. I was taken in with atrial fibrillation in December 2021, they stopped and restarted my heart and put me on a tablet a day. I've got to admit, I'd been suffering palpitations for years and nobody could pinpoint what was wrong so I was pleased they'd found the reason when they did.
If it's a pacemaker you need, make sure you tell them if you think it needs tweaking.
Wishing you a Speedy Recovery Dr Bob!!!

Getting ops cancelled or delayed is now more frequent than ever. From a personal view point, my wife's hip was in need of replacement urgently. That was 4 years ago she is now crippled walking only with a stick, and still no signs of an op. Strikes send the calendar back several months, and in medical circles no one gives a rats behind. Go private is the cry, yes 14k is easily come by, I don't think. So Dr Bob here's two folks who share your frustrations.
So after 15 days in hospital (should have been 3 max) and them giving me Cellulitis (skin infection) and Osteomyelitis (bone infection) the consultant tried to cancel the angiogram yet again and have me as an out patient due to the strike. My reaction was that the stress and anxiety of the situation has given me chest pains!!!RESULT I had the angiogram Thursday and was finally discharged Friday.
And the course of treatment?? They have quadrupled my beta blockers!!! FFS
Bob
So this is all associated with the surgery you had on your...Shoulder??
Hopefully on the road to Making More Rapid parts!!
Get Well FAST!!

No foot operation. Originally I saw the physiotherapist regarding my knee and she told me it's never going to be correct until I can put my feet flat on the floor.
So I had surgery on my feet!
Dr Bob,
Holy Fallen Arches...Batman!!!!!
So I hope they got those infections under Control...
More Best Wishes from that Yank...
Stuart
Jeez you've been going through the mill with all this!
It's also poor form by the hospital not sorting the angiogram. Glad you got one in the end though.
Hopefully your on the mend now and here's to it happening asap.
Take care
Simon
