Title: HM1000 vs HM1000x
Post by: saddler1980 on May 19, 2023, 01:04:10 PM
now, i know the HM1000 block is similar size wise to a Mk2/MFR block but, the longer HM1000x block, does it share the same stock bolt pattern etc.?
i really like the look of these chassis to build up one of my MFR's.....IMG-20230518-WA0028.jpg

oooof.. $1300 plus shipping vat duty.
6.2lbs.

iirc a rapid block will fit the standard chassis but the fore end is too long to clearthe bottle and reg/ QF

HM1000 and HM1000X have the same stock bolt position and trigger position but the bottom plug is further forward. I have not seen the inside of this stock but I am pretty sure it will only be milled for the 1000x as is the new Saber tactical stock and it's only £299 from Argun101 in the Uk.
PS the Saber stock is advertised for the HM1000  This is wrong only the HM1000X will fit.
Plus points are you can remove the action without taking the bottle off, the extended Swiss arcs rail is rock solid, it's really well machined / finished and it looks great👍
