Best scope recommendations for an older style beencan moded Fenman .22
Currently waiting for the piston return after repair and I'm on the lookout for a decent scope model from this period early 90s with 1" tube
Can remember Tasco & Simmons being popular around this time
I've also got a set of period riser inserts so large objective isn't an issue

Whitetail classic 2-7x32 original
i'd go Tasco or Nikko
Hi Big Stu,
Myself like the old whitetail classic matt finish.
Regards kev.
Whitetail classic for me. 3-9x40 or 3-9x50 if your mounts allowed enough clearance. Or even a little 1.5-5x20 Whitetail classic.
Cheers everyone thinking Simmons is the way forward just need to find the right one 👍
WTC 1.5-5x20 looks great on the fenman
Settled on a Simmons for now just re parallaxed for 25yds
Garden plinking 😊

The 3-9x40 is quite rare, most are the x50
Quite lucky this one turned up on the agf quite reasonably priced given some costs I've seen
It's bit rough in one or two places on the outside graphite coatings chipped just cosmetic and as with most you can clearly see where it's had rings fitted previously definitely what you would call a used scope
Managed to get it re-parallax without any issues always over looked them as a young lad and preferred Tasco not so sure now though this one is cracking little scope
