Very nice Dave.
The liners are a great job. What slugs have you tried and what sort of results are you getting?

Good with knockout mk2 and nsa 23g and nsa 27g I've fitted one of them harmonic weights you will see it before silencer

Nice Dave. I mostly use 21g nd 23g H&N's .217's.
Although i had a batch of the 20.2g NSA's  which were lazer accurate. Having difficulties getting any more though.
I thought that looked like a harmonic tuner. Do you think it makes any difference, any noticable improvements in groups?

Barrel made up of superior linner fx barrel stiffener fx barrel 14-16 carbon 16-18 carbon, and all can be stripped down I've Also got the 700mm heavy linner set up but not tried that yet got an adaptor made so linner and original fx barrel screws into it like original fx barrel setup very happy with how it performs and the tuner does work with this setup, but can't say if it would work with a made up stiffer barrel like yours

Have you tried the 17.5gn .22 nsa I was thinking of trying them for the flatness and would get more fps?

Hi Dave,
Your liner setup sounds a great job. Who did it for you?
No, havent tried the 17.5g NSA's. I emailed Ratworks to get an idea about his restock time as i was going to order a load of the 20.2g but he said they were'nt getting any more in as they were being messed about. Gonna be hard to source now but they are the best i've tried yet.

I got it done from local engineer company, had a lw smooth barrel machined from before and got it cut down and threaded to suit fx barrel thread bored out to suit fx linners so theoben probe pushes pellet past joint all machined like fx adaptor with internal orings etc so all linners can be easy fitted

Very nice job Dave!
What sort of power are you running at in .22?
I considered trying a heavy liner but dont think the Rapid can really push the velocities needed for heavy slugs.
I'm more than happy with mine as it is at the minute.

940-970 fps with 22-25g what head size was you shooting the best with in the nsa 20g

Hi Dave,
My liner seems to like .217 in most of the slugs i've tried. More consistent than the .218's.
The NSA 20.2g .217's have gave me the best groups yet.
The groups below were at 75 yards in breezy condidtions. Three on the right were sighters and the other 9 from the 12 shot mag on the lefthand bull .

Yes that's very good Davey, I'm getting 15-25mm groups at that range still trying to tighten them is good fun I've still a lot to try
Krake is selling the 20.2g nsa but postage is a killer and there a fair bit more expensive than ratworks have you tried the fx hybrids is it a 600 superior your shooting mate

I looked at Krale too Dave.
£25 postage is mad!
Yeah its a 600mm slightly trimmed to about 22 inches length. The hybrids shoot well out of mine but are very tight to load and lower fps, plus quite expensive. I still have alot of the first batch i bought.

Yes I gave my breech a real good polish, mine is like the fx smooth before it meets linner so the .217 and even .218 are not bad at loading, does yours start straight into linner

A minimum order of 135 excluding vat, and vat and import duty paid by you in uk and £20 postage too expensive now for slugs from them

Nick polished it at the breech but yeah straight into the liner. It just seems to.be tight with the FX Hybrids all the other slugs i've tried seem fine.

Yeah looked at them as they seem to be the only other option for NSA slugs but ridiculous prices.
