Title: S-Type-a-like
Post by: Squinty on February 24, 2023, 11:35:51 AM
Couldn't decide on how to finish my mk2 build, I would have liked one of Steve Brown's creations and considering the length of time it's taken to get this far  would of had one by now... if I'd placed an order back  in 2020 when I started .
I'm not particularly keen on the standard mk2 stock and the CS800s are nice but 'first port of call'.
Of the standard stocks I like the early R7, Sentinels and the 'S'

The build has lived in a late mk1 ambi for long enough so when this came up I jumped.
Quite fitting for the S-Type build spec 19" 1.77 barrel , 490 shots from 230 bar.

Two things to change; annoyingly  the bi-pod springs 'zing' on every shot or bump and it has already taken a chunk out of my trigger finger :-X
And small..I should have got a black anodised Rowan trigger blade.

Just need to find the right scope.
