I've seen a nice MK1 with a 19" barrel that I'm interested in. However, it's had a sling swivel attached to the barrel. Before I make the trek to see it, is there any known issues (accuracy, etc..) with that set-up?
Just take the clamp of the barrel and fit a Dr Bob bottle clamp.
Regards kev.
A follow up comment...what KCE just said....
Those barrel mounted sling studs will affect accuracy!
It adds pressure to the barrel.... so it not free floating..
So I would think about a Dr Bob Botte-Clamp sling stud...

Good Luck,

Thanks both for the advise
I mounted the barrel band as close to the stock as possible to reduce the stress on the bottle connection for using either a sling or bipod.
I'm not keen on either of the two methods. Md
