Hi all, Are these another Jsb manufactured pellet, as they weigh in at 15.89 ? (.22)
Same as the jsb jumbo and as field etc ?
See there's also a barracuda 18 ? Again are these the same as the jsb heavies ?
Anyone experience of them
Thanks A1
They certainly look the same as jsb pellets, and with the stated weights being identical too, I'd be inclined to think they are rebranded jsbs

That's my thinking too , I've ordered some to compare 👍

I tried both 15 and 18, they're similar to JSBs, going by the weights you would (as I did) think rebrands like Weihrauch or perhaps licensed dies.
And £15 for 750 / 600 pellets definitely made them worth a punt.
Side-by-side the head shape was slightly different- FTT-ish with a deep flat bottomed skirt.
Group size claims are 2-3x that of what my FAC is capable with some AA/JSB/FX pellets but you never know until you shoot em.
Each batch must put 20 shots a maximum of 21mm C-T-C on a target at 50m.
In practice I was lucky to get each shot within 21mm of the previous one;D
I tried three different barrels, LW 12 groove, polygon and a Weihrauch- two shots in an inch at 50 yards was the average for a 2nd shot
Not as bad as the worst JSB dies and not good enough to replace the best ones.
Thanks Squinty , they maybe worth a play/ comparison 😊
Where did you get them at that price ?

They do look very like a JSB exact, but H&N are a pellet manufacturer, so surely it would be far cheaper to make them themselves ?
I'd think it far more likely they just decided to make their own "long" pellet, to sell alongside the relatively short/squat .22 FTT, which don't suit all barrels.
Having just measured a number of both, the Barracuda 15 are consistently .3mm longer than the Exacts.
I'll do a bit of testing of the 15's and 18's and see how they shoot in my rapids vs the jsb's and report back 😁

Picked them up about 18 months ago, pure chance that my local RFD actually had a few boxes.
The 18s were £5.16s were 5.75, worth a punt at the time. Better than only using 100 pelletsffrom a random tin of JSBs or AAs at £16/18.
First time the place matched internet prices without asking 😳
definitely worth a go, every gun is different.
I tried two at 31 and 34fpe. with a 3rd barrel swap.
Thought one would perform well enough to go back and buy the lot.
Knew I had some 18s left.
Which one is the JSB?

Hmm left one lol
:)
lol it's the one on the right, both 15s and 18s were well formed with defined edges.
The slightly rough looking JSBs were bang on
So some testing today of barracuda 15 , mk 2 FAC @ 30fpe 40 yards
Not great

Then the barracuda 18's .... Pleasantly surprised :-*
Well that`s not bad at all it seems the barracuda 18's have the upper edge at high power.

They look very good, only a 5 shot group so need do a bit more testing .
Also the 18's were punching right through the 3/4" ply whereas the 15's didn't
