Hi Kev & a'body else
i have a FAC rapid 12 tha ti bought and use and its ok, very accurate and i use those jsb hades and seem to hit hard and well, only thing ive done since ive had it is added best fitting quick fill adapter / upgrade..
rifle loses air over few days but holds well for said day or a nights work.
what id like in an ideal world is the rifle stripped, given good check over & service.
id be interested in any up grades / tuning including fitting a reg for it ... I don't know what's available /suggested for them at a minimum
here's the thing .... I stay up between Aberdeen & Dundee and its FAC ...id be willing to travel and stayover and hopefully watch , take notes of said service just so i know for myself for future work, servicing ... learn from the best if you will .
hopefully this is something that could be arranged .
finger crossed!!!
Paul
Hi there, there's a good video on YouTube, that shows how to strip one. Hopefully someone will be along soon with advice, I was up your way last week Inbervebie.md
is it one of those best fittings quickfills with the horrible brass extension on.if so I would check for leaks from the barrel muzzle, just put a bit of spit on the muzzle or light oil if your posh.you will see it form a bubble immediately with even the slowest of leaks.its fairly common to get leaks from the valve and stem that shows at the barrel muzzle after fitting new parts especially the brass extensions .
