Title: Tuning the RAW - Lubing Bottle Threads???
Post by: Zack on November 04, 2022, 07:37:56 PM
I've probably removed the bottle from my RAW HM1000X about 3 or 4 times in total. I'm about to adjust the tune and will probably need to remove and replace the bottle several times. Would it be a good idea to lube the threads with moly or Krytox grease? I want to avoid any galling when removing/installing the bottle under pressure.

Thanks!

Krytox would be the Best choice..
Silicone based greased is not Ideal....
With Metal to Metal contact..
It has been proven the silicone, once it impregnates the surface, will cause galling.
Krytox is fully synthetic grease base, with Teflon filler.
