Title: 17/177 at the range
Post by: Daztilley on October 16, 2022, 05:07:29 PM
Was at the range today testing out a very different type of scope.

It's a PRISMAX 10x32 prismatic scope with built in laser rangefinder. The scope connects to my phone via Bluetooth and with the measured range to the target and angle of shot in degrees the phone speaks the holdover / holdunder in mils and is also displayed in scope view.

It works really well once the ballistic app has been setup with pellet type , weight , speed and scope height .

Have put some pics below ...

Yes its easy to setup in the phone ballistic app and does work very well. I shot lots of spinners and knock down targets at the range yesterday and 99% of targets spun or dropped 1st shot

It did cause a bit of commotion- that's cheating etc ..... but as it wasn't a competition , I wanted to test it out and see how good it is.

My mk1 rapid 17 using bisley magnum pellets is very very accurate and the scope was a eye opener - I have put a photo on of the ballistic app
