My mk2 177 has developed some resonance .....a 'TING'.

The backstop is only 12yds so there's impact noise....but the ting is there.

My phone is directly under the gun but you will need to turn up the volume.

ok, may have found the cause of the TING.

The damned reg.
As usual my Pro-shit chrono was playing up, 500fps to 900 fps ::) so I put my Combro on.
The gun has been running a  5-10fps spread since I built it up,
Two shots 735-740fos and the third is 25fps low.. ting.
The block isn't up to pressure, so the third shot empties the chamber and forces the reg to open and 3 shots if aur moves instead of one.
Guess the reg isn't reacting well to my air miser set up (500 shots @ 230bar)
Time to find out why this one isn't opening.  :-\

You hear about new things happening all the time..with the old Rapid!
Check the air passage in the reg.
Also check the tip seal on the reg core..

Will do just that, could be the core...Why am I surprised its not my first E-bay reg failure.
