Hi got a bit of air blasting out up on shooting,
Is there anything I can do to stop that ?
Can you get heavier spring or is there any adjustment there?
Any help be very appreciated ,
by the mag breach end ?
probably a poor seal between probe and barrel.
Does it have an adjustable bolt/probe? Hole in the back?

Yes that's exactly what's happening mate
oh well, manual adjustment ...PITA time.
scope off, loosen the barrel and push it back against the probe..all trial and error I'm afraid.
Have your removed your barrel recently??
If so, it may be just a simple barrel adjustment.
Also check the breech extension...
Depending on the pellets you shoot, you can get lead deposits here that well prevent a tight seal
So if it is the bolt needs to be adjusted..

The bottom bolt is the old style non-adjustable.
To tighten it up..Temp solution you can use an O-ring...The right way is to add another wavy washer.
These are placed behind the inner pellet probe!!
Good Luck

Right I've got it figured out it's not the probe it's the little grub on the right hand side of the block !
It's blowing out there is a very small hole in the grub !!!!
same as before mate
2ba 5/16 grub screw Ptfe or small oring and grub screw another on top
For there to be pressure behind that screw air is leaking past/around the exhaust valve, so that is what you need to stop ;)

there's an o-ring both sides on the valve body the air is simply taking the route with the lowest resistance.
it does only occur on firing
The puff of air when you fire your Rapid is due to the Valve-body being a little loose.
The large front O-ring keep air from leaking continuously!!
With the early Rapids that use a grub screw to index it...
Some have used some Teflon Tape...
I like using blue loctite.. A good thread sealant... some use it in place of Teflon Tape.
But use BLUE Loctite, so you can remove the screw without HEAT!!!
In a pinch..steal some nail polish from a female in the house!!!
If you use a sealant, let it set for a couple of hours before you fire it!
Good Luck

what was the method you went with to fis it so every knows incase someone else suffers with it
Ptfe tape works perfectly
